The name comes from the four mile drive it takes from western Santa Cruz to get to the parking lot along Highway 1. The beach hours will be Monday through Friday 12pm till 6pm Saturday and Sunday 11am till 6pm. Canoers and kayakers can explore the 26 mile Water Trail that flows through the length of the Park 5.
